Peaches grow well in Texas. In fact, Fredericksburg, TX is known for peaches (see Peach Season in Fredericksburg.)

Jenschke Orchards is primarily a pick-your-own peach orchard (also strawberries, blackberries, pumpkins, and Christmas trees, seasonally.) They also have a nice roadside stand offering a selection produce, baked goods, and tasty treats.

Efurd Orchards is a fun roadside stop in East Texas. They have a great farm stand with a variety of plants, produce, baked goods, and of course homemade ice creams. Have a rest and enjoy their odd and amusing collection of antiques while you’re there.

Have lunch and ice cream at Ham Orchards! Many people suggest the peach pulled pork, peach tea, and of course peach ice cream. They have a BBQ stand with a large open-air pavilion, bakery, farm market store, 5 orchards, and 2 pick-your-own blackberry patches.

Peachy Peel Farm is a hidden gem located a little off the beaten path. It has pick-your-own options and its own farmers market store with jams and jellies, produce, baked goods, and ice cream.
