Roadside Stop: Texas Tulips in Pilot Point

A beautiful tulip farm can be found about an hour north of Dallas in Pilot Point, Texas. The owners, who previously ran a family farm in the Netherlands, have brought the vibrant tulip fields of Holland here to North Texas. And people are loving it!

The pick your own tulip fields are usually open for a little over a month each year when the tulips are in bloom. It’s best to check their Facebook page here for current conditions.

This has become a popular attraction, so before you go know that it will probably be busy and full of people taking pictures. It’s probably best to embrace it as part of the attraction. Some of the outfits people wear for their selfies are thoroughly entertaining.

$2.50 Per Stem

10am-8pm (During Open Season)

They will wrap a bouquet for you in your choice of tissue paper and put the stems in a flower gel to keep them fresh until you get home.
