What Can You Expect to See & Do at Lavender Ridge Farms?

The Cafe

The outdoor cafe is a great place to relax and have a bite to eat. The vibe is laid-back and tranquil with plenty of shade for those warm Texas afternoons. They offer a small menu of lunch items and desserts, as well as lavender lemonade and iced tea. We highly recommend trying some of the items featuring lavender. The lavender lemonade and lavender cheesecake were the kid favorites on our visit.

Stroll the Grounds (Animals & Gardens)

The farm features a pick your own lavender field where guests can cut bunches of fresh lavender (seasonally,) as well as several perennial gardens, and a large bearded iris collection.

Along a few short walking trails, you will find several types of birds, both native and migratory. They also have traditional farm animals; chickens, roosters, goats, and even some of the cutest miniatures (horse and donkey.) The big surprise, however, is the lemurs! Many of their animals are rescue/adoptions.

Garden Center & Gift Shop

Next, check out the garden center.  They offer shrubs, trees, annuals, and perennials all sourced locally from Texas and Oklahoma growers.

Before you leave, browse the gift shop for a souvenir to take home. The store offers a great selection of gifts and handmade items ranging from bath and body products to infused spices and honey.

Tips for Lavender Ridge Farms Visitors:

Check their Facebook page for the current status of the pick your own lavender field.

Many of the animals are rescues and they ask that you not bring pets.
