What Can You Expect to See and Do on Your Visit?
Ranger-led tours run throughout the day to take you to the dig site, a short walk away in a climate-controlled shelter. The fossils here are in their original positions within the bone bed, and viewable from an elevated walkway. The ranger will give you some great info and allow you to roam the exhibit. Kids will enjoy posing next to the life-sized mammoth mural and imagining what life was like for the Paleo-Americans who once lived among the mammoths.
