Make "About the Author" Background Research Fun
Most literature-based unit studies begin by having students research the author before reading their book. Below is an interactive printable to make this activity a bit more enjoyable for kids. They will record very basic information, then choose their 3 favorite fun facts about the author.

How to Assemble:
- Print the 2 pages. (This activity is available to print in a color or colorable version.)
- Cut the doors along the top, bottom, and right side. Fold a crease along the left side of the doors.
- Glue or tape the page with the doors on top of the 2nd page.
