What Can You Expect to See & Do at the Stockyards?
• Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive
The Stockyards have so much to see and do, but the number one can’t miss attraction is the Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back into a bygone time as the cowboys and longhorns take their stroll down the cobblestones of Exchange Avenue. Cattle drives take place twice daily at 11:30am and 4:00pm. Additionally, on the weekends the cattle drive is followed up by Legends of Texas Gunfight Show. The Fort Worth Herd Cattle drive and Legends of Texas Gunfight Show are both free to the public.

Mule Alley
Mule Alley is a “new” up and coming part of the stockyards. It’s being beautifully restored and is in the process of opening a variety of shops, dining, and entertainment venues, some of which will overlook Marine Creek. Visitors can look forward to beautifully landscaped streets with art and sculpture, music, and horse-drawn carriages.
Saunders Park
A well-kept secret is located directly behind some of the shops and restaurants in the Fort Worth Stockyards. It’s a serene little walkway along Marine Creek, which includes Saunders Park. Saunders Park is a tiny park tucked away inside this urban area, right along the creek. There is a historical marker where you can read about the Saunders family and what they had to do with the livestock industry and the history of the stockyards.
